Bijni, March 20: In observance of World Oral Health Day, a special event was held today at Bijni Sub-Divisional Civil Hospital (SDCH) as part of the National Oral Health Program (NOHP). The event, organized in collaboration with the Assam Cancer Care Foundation, aimed to promote oral health and raise awareness about the crucial link between oral hygiene and overall well-being.
The theme for this year’s observance, “A Happy Mouth is a Healthy Mind,” emphasized the significant connection between maintaining good oral hygiene and overall physical and mental health. The event featured informative sessions and activities aimed at educating the public on the importance of oral health in leading a healthy life.
Key officials, including the Joint Director of Health Services, Deputy Superintendent of Bijni SDCH, District Media Expert, District Coordinator – RBSK, Block Coordinator, and the staff from Bijni SDCH and the Assam Cancer Care Foundation, attended the event, reinforcing their commitment to improving health outcomes in the community.
