
Indian Army has informed that online registration from unmarried male candidates for selection as Agniveers for recruiting year 2025-26 under Agnipath Scheme has commenced from 12 March 2025 and will remain open till 10 April 2025.
Applications are invited from domiciles of districts of Upper Assam (Jorhat, Majuli, Tinsukia, Dibrugarh, Golaghat, Sivasagar, Charaideo, Dhemaji & Lakhimpur) and the recruitment of Agniveers would be carried out in two phases, informed a defence release.
In phase I, online computer based, common entrance examination (CEE) would be conducted at selected centres in state, while in phase II, recruitment rally would be conducted for shortlisted candidates, who would appear in the merit list after online common entrance examination.
Candidates are asked to log onto www.joinindianarmy.nic.in to check their eligibility status and create a personal profile.
It added that all candidates will be required to have Aadhaar number, active mobile number and personal email id at the time of registration on www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. Candidates are advised to link Aadhaar number with mobile number and to have personalised email id and mobile number to avoid communication issues at later stages as same will be utilised by Indian Army for further communication.
To provide candidates practice on online CEE as per their category, it informed that a category wise link has been provided on “Join Indian Army” website. Candidates are advised to carry out practice at least once before appearing for actual CEE. It added that animated videos on “How to register” and “How to appear for online CEE” are also available on www.joinindianarmy.nic.in alongwith information on educational qualification, physical/ medical standards and job specification.
